Role Summary: In this strategic pre-sales position, the Sr Staff Solution Architect will establish a trusted advisor relationship with our prospects, customers and internal support teams. You will collaborate with pre-sales technical teams, professional services and commercial sales teams in the business unit they are supporting to help drive sales of ServiceMax from GE Digital.
You will be a strong voice for our prospects and customers, understanding pain points, business issues and functional needs. Utilizing this information you will you will build a compelling business case to show value of the ServiceMax solution.
In this role, you will:
Establish a deep understanding of prospects business issues
Create a trusted advisor relationship with our prospects business leaders, service operations and technical teams
Develop solution architecture framework to support solution selling on an enterprise level.
Lead service transformation discussions across large platforms / functional areas using technology solutions
Provide solution functional expertise to ensure proper solution design
Interface with all Pre-Sales Solutions Architects globally (and build a community) to train, mentor, guide through new solution functionality and configuration
Provide SWAT coverage for key customer facing events, particularly C level discussions
Interface with c-level team to ensure alignment to sales process and priorities
Evangelize GE technology platform in appropriate sales forums to drive demand and continued interest
Design, configure and present software demos based on prospects functional business needs
Develop evolution path and migration plans for key GE customers from their current state to the target GE Digital Strategy by deploying Predictivity Solutions in concert with other GE Products & Services
Shape, drive and be held accountable for delivering significant strategic initiatives across broad scope/platform(s) in liaison with key stakeholders
Partner with account executive to develop account plan and determine best sales approach
5 years of experience
OR High School degree and 9 years of solution architecture experience
Eligibility Requirements: (Country Specific)

Must be willing to travel up to 50%
Must be willing to work out of a home office located in the Continental of United States
Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels
Innovative thinker who is able to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling solution proposals
Prescriptive in recommending solution architectures to enhance delivery of solution mapping of the ServiceMax from GE Digital software portfolio
Field Service Knowledge
Prior SFDC experience
Supply chain experience
Prior ServiceMax experience
