The IT Asset Management Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design, architecture and development of the systems that manage the inventory of IT technology assets within Verizon. The ideal candidate has high technical understanding of IT asset life cycles and experience with the leading asset management tools. This person will be proficient in various development languages and database deployments and will ensure the optimal performance of these system, which are essential for managing the IT asset inventory across the Verizon environment.
Design, architect, implement Asset Management system. This includes Installing, administering, configuring and upgrading a Vendor packages.
Implement ETL solutions using T-SQL and SQL integration services (SSIS). Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution.
Design and implement cloud Integration: AWS, Google, Oracle, and Azure.
Development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
Support and enhance integration with a major configuration management system (CMS/uCMDB).
Develop upstream and downstream data feeds in and out of asset inventory.
Integration with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tool.
Mapping asset inventory with business services.
Focus on data quality, proactively reviewing inventory and performing reconciliation analysis of IT asset records.
Develop reports for data Quality Assurance and user requirements using SQL server reporting services (SSRS).
Work closely with platform teams to understand server architecture and IT build process.
Identify and pursue process improvements, automation, and application integration opportunities.
Develop disaster recovery plans and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
Configure web server (IIS 7.5) and application server (Apache Tomcat 8).
Translate requirements from the business into technical code.
Respond to user requests for assistance, and troubleshoots and resolves system issues.

You'll need to have:
Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better of you have:
Hands-on experience with a major Asset Management package or solution.
Strong SQL, C#, .Net and REST APIs programming skills.
Hands-on experience with the MicroFocus Asset Manager and Connect-IT products.
Working knowledge of MicroFocus configuration management database (CMDB) product
Familiarity with JIRA, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS) tools.
Experience with SSO configuration.
Familiarity with File Transmission protocols and setting up FTP server.
Familiarity with Flexera Normalize.
SDLC methodologies from waterfall to agile.
Strong team player whos able to also work independently; ability to take initiative.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
