What youll be doing...

Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will work fairly independently on more complex operational & technical projects, issues, systems and applications. You will use your experience, expertise and skills to solve problems that are more difficult & infrequent.

  • Leading multiple projects using on-site and offshore teams to maintain and develop applications for both enterprise releases and smaller maintenance releases.
  • Working closely with the business team, 3rd party vendors, and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Performing hands-on coding work on projects to introduce new modular, reusable Service/API or enhancing the existing ones.
  • Performing engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems.
  • Develop software for process orchestration and/or building L0/L1/L2 Network topology creation and activation.
  • Implement algorithms: ML, IP Address Management (IPv4/Ipv6), center productivity improvement etc.
  • Design and Implement business process for provisioning Network products such as Wave, Ethernet/ELINE, FiOS, Internet, ELAN and other services for Wireline and Wireless business.
  • Follow up on the progress of development and report to development manager.
  • Work with business owners to analyze requirements, identify impact to applications and determine high level LOE.

    Youll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery model.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE, with the knowledge of its ecosystems.
  • Experience with Spring Cloud and Micro services development.
  • Knowledge of build tools such as Ant and Maven.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git and Stash.
  • Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge with AWS Concepts and Implementation.
  • Knowledge of IT Security
  • Knowledge with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Experience in Node JS.
  • Experience in AI/ML.
  • Ability to pick up new technology quickly.
  • Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns.
  • Proficiency in MVC, JDBC and RESTful.
